The history of Yanmar is the history of innovation. Known world wide for their diesel engines, Yanmar successfully began to manufacture compact construction equipment in 1967. The first unit produced was a small dozer. In 1971 Yanmar designed and manufactured the world's first mini-excavator, the YB600C. In 1994, the company pioneered the first True Zero Tail Swing Mini Excavator. Today, Yanmar is recognized world wide for high quality, innovative Compact Excavators, Compact Wheel Loaders, Track Carriers, and other highly productive compact equipment.

VIO SERIES

The "VIO" name means True Zero Tail Swing. In 1993, YANMAR launched the world's first ZERO TAIL Swing excavator and is currently marketing the 4th generation model. The "VIO" development objective of turning within the machine width has been successfully achieved, while still maintaining the stability and work performance of a conventional style unit. There are 7 models in the "VIO" Series, ranging from 3,704 lbs. through 17,530 lbs.

The "SV" means Ultra-Tight Turning. The turning radius in both front and rear is very minimal. This smooth, tight turning radius adds versatility on a tight work site. There are now 2 models in "SV" series, with the smallest model, SV08 (2,348 lbs.), and the largest model, SV100 (20,730 lbs.)

B SERIES
"B-Sigma" has unique "Sigma" boom. It is ideal for jobs in restricted urban sites and densely built-up areas. It is not only Zero Tail swing, but also no overhang on the front swing with the "Sigma boom." This means you are able to turn 360 degrees within the machines width.

	There are 2 models, the V3-6 (operating weight 6,801 lbs. canopy, 7154 lbs. cabin) and the V4-6 (operating weight 8058 lbs. canopy, 8411 lbs cabin). Both cabin models are available with air conditioning as a factory installed option.
